Hatem Abd Elhamed had a blinding debut for Celtic today.

Celtic sent a message this afternoon – and a clear one.
Neil Lennon’s side kicked off their Premiership campaign with a 7-0 demolition of St Johnstone at Parkhead.
It was a ruthless display from Celtic and a clear statement of intent. Rangers will have to work very hard to stop the Hoops from making it nine in a row come May.
So many of Lennon’s side are being praised on Twitter, particularly Ryan Christie who scored a hat-trick, but a lot of the adulation is coming for Hatem Abd Elhamed too.
Lennon gave the Israel right-back his debut this afternoon and the 28-year-old didn’t let him down in what was a brilliant bow which demonstrated his attacking qualities.
Elhamed has been signed as Mikael Lustig’s replacement and although it’s early days, a lot of Celtic fans are chuffed with him.
He went off with an injury after 51 minutes in what was a suspected dead leg.
According to The Scottish Sun, Lennon picked him up for only £1.6 million.
