Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster has suggested that he would be interested in signing permanently from Southampton.

Celtic fans are urging Peter Lawwell to sanction a permanent move for Fraser Forster after the goalkeeper’s comments.
Forster has joined Celtic on loan from Southampton until the end of the season, and he has impressed so far.
The Scottish goalkeeper has now suggested that he would be keen to extend his stay at Parkhead.
He said to the Daily Record: “I just wanted to go somewhere I felt wanted. I’ve not had that for a long time. I’d some tough times down there.
“Training for the Under 23s and being away from the first-team. To come back is fantastic.
“A lot of it is out of my hands, we’ll just have to wait and see, but I’d never say no to this club.”
The comments have gone down well with Celtic supporters, who feel that Forster has been excellent since coming back.
And Bhoys fans now want Forster’s move made permanent sooner rather than later.
Forster has immediately been made Celtic’s number one since coming back to Glasgow, meaning he is finally playing regular football again.
The England international had lost his place at Southampton, with Angus Gunn and Alex McCarthy both ahead of him in the pecking order back at his parent club.
As a result, if Celtic did make a bid to sign Forster permanently it seems highly unlikely that Southampton would stand in his way.
