Celtic beat Rangers 2-1 at Parkhead this afternoon.

Celtic moved another step closer to clinching the Scottish Premiership title this afternoon, beating Old Firm rivals Rangers 2-1 at Parkhead.
The Bhoys knew a win would take them 13 points clear at the top, and they’ve done just that with a somewhat unconvincing yet important win.
Neil Lennon’s side went in front as Odsonne Edouard broke away to score in the first half, before Rangers were reduced to 10 men, with Alfredo Morelos picking up a red card for an elbow on Scott Brown.
Rangers remarkably got back into the game with a man down, as Ryan Kent raced past Dedryck Boyata to score a superb equaliser for the Gers.
Celtic weren’t to be denied though, as they pounced on a James Tavernier error to score, with James Forrest slotting home the winner.
In an action-packed game, Celtic managed to come out victorious, and picked up a superb victory to claim bragging rights – and most likely the title too.

Celtic fans were jubilant at full time, but that didn’t stop defender Boyata from being heavily criticised, not only for his poor defending against Kent for the goal but also for heading off the pitch with an injury when Celtic had already used all their substitutions.
Fans slated Boyata as ‘a joke’ and ‘a liability’, with many hoping that he won’t play for Celtic again after this display, though that may not be impossible given that his contract expires this summer.
