It’s safe to say that Celtic fans are loving what Leicester City’s Claude Puel said regarding Filip Benkovic.

Celtic fans are loving what Leicester City boss Claude Puel said on Friday.
The French manager confirmed via The Scottish Sun that he won’t be recalling any of the Foxes’ loanees in January.
This is particularly significant for Celtic, who have the brilliant Filip Benkovic on a season-long loan.
City have the option to recall him in January but, going by Puel’s comments, the 21-year-old will remain at Parkhead for the rest of the campaign at least.
The young Croatian centre-back has been a revelation since joining Brendan Rodgers’s side and suffice to say that Celtic supporters are delighted with Puel’s comments.
Problem is, can Celtic sign him permanently? Probably not.
Benkovic cost Leicester a cool £13 million [The Scottish Sun] in August, prior to loaning him to Rodgers.
Even if the Premier League side want to sell, they wouldn’t take a loss on him this early, so the Hoops would need to smash their transfer record to bring him in.
And would Rodgers, who spent a club-record £9 million on striker Odsonne Edouard during the summer, pay in excess of £13 million for Benkovic? It seems unlikely.
