Celtic have seen Greg Taylor make a strong start to the new season, but they could still be in the market for a new left back.

Boli Bolingoli appeared to be out of favour anyway, but his much-publicised lockdown breach means he could be leaving Celtic.

Sky Sports report that Bolingoli could now head to Amiens on loan with a view to a £2.3million permanent move, meaning Celtic would need a replacement.

It’s stated that Leeds United’s Barry Douglas is a target for the Bhoys, with Neil Lennon seeking to bring the ex-Dundee United man back to Scotland.

Douglas, 30, has just won promotion with Leeds and could play in the Premier League, but is coming off a frustrating campaign.

The Scot managed just six league starts this past season alongside nine substitute appearances, and failed to register a goal or an assist.

Usually so dangerous going forward, Douglas struggled for form and fitness, which means some Celtic fans aren’t keen on the idea of signing him.

Others think that Douglas ‘would be lethal’ in Lennon’s 3-5-2 system, believing that he would walk into the Celtic side and would be an ‘excellent signing’.
