Celtic got themselves back to winning ways this afternoon, beating Motherwell 3-0 at Parkhead.

The Bhoys lost 2-1 at home to Ferencvaros in midweek to crash out of the Champions League in a rather embarrassing defeat for Neil Lennon.

It was back to domestic action today as Celtic hosted Motherwell, just days after raiding them to sign midfielder David Turnbull.

Turnbull was only on the bench as Celtic were unconvincing in the first half, but they did go into the break 1-0 up thanks to a James Forrest goal.

Lennon changed things at the break as Patryk Klimala was brought on for Mohamed Elyounoussi, whilst Jeremie Frimpong and Albian Ajeti came on after the hour mark.

Ajeti made an instant impact by grabbing Celtic’s second goal, effectively sealing the win, before Christopher Jullien added a third.

Ajeti showed the kind of clinical finishing Celtic lacked against Ferencvaros, with the Swiss ace showing that he can still find the net even if he isn’t in perfect fitness right now.

Celtic fans took to Twitter to hail Ajeti, branding his positioning ‘sublime’ and ‘great’, adding that he is ‘class’ and ‘like Gary Hooper’.

Others think he looks like great business for Celtic, and is going to be superb for the club following his summer move from West Ham United.
