Tom Rogic has been criticised by Celtic fans after his dismal showing against AEK Athens last night.

Celtic were knocked out of the Champions League in Greece, as they slipped to a 2-1 defeat.

On a night where Brendan Rodgers needed his big players to step up to the challenge, Rogic failed to provide the attacking spark his side needed.

And Celtic fans have been quick to criticise the Australian international’s performance on social media website Twitter.

Celtic’s exit from Europe is a massive blow to Rodgers’ side, who have been in the Champions League for the past two seasons.

Celtic have failed to strengthen over the summer, and their defensive issues proved to be too much to overcome.

Celtic will now drop into the Europa League, with much frustration being felt around Parkhead at the minute.
