Celtic fans have heaped praise upon Tom Rogic, after the Australian put in an outstanding performance against Slavia Prague in pre-season last night.
Celtic picked up a 0-0 draw in their friendly against the Czech champions – in what was a well contested encounter.
The Bhoys may still be sharpening up for the new campaign, but they looked a solid outfit last night.
And Celtic fans were particularly impressed by Rogic’s display, despite a number of Brendan Rodgers’ first-team putting in good performances.
Rogic is perhaps sharper than many of his Celtic teammates, as he has had less time off.
The attacking midfielder represented Australia at the Confederations Cup recently, where he also impressed.
Rogic is likely to have a key role to play at Celtic for the upcoming campaign, with Rodgers a huge fan of the 24-year-old.
Celtic’s competitive campaign begins next week, when they take on Linfield in Champions League qualification.
