Celtic’s Tom Rogic faces at least two months out with injury.
Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic has been ruled out of action after undergoing an ankle operation, The BBC reported.
The Australian international last featured in late December, picking up the injury against Dundee.
Celtic had been quiet on his situation, before Brendan Rodgers yesterday confirmed at his press conference that Rogic faces a prolonged spell on the sidelines.

Rodgers said: “He had to have an operation. [He] will be out probably for the next few months.
“It was either going through the same procedure as before or have an operation so he went to London for an operation and it is all done and he is on the way to recovery now.
“It is a big disappointment because he is a player I was looking forward to seeing back.”

The Daily Record report it will be just two months Rogic is out for, which would allow him to come back before the end of the campaign, but Celtic are likely to have the league title wrapped up before then in any case, already 27 points clear at the top.
Rogic signed for Celtic in 2013 and struggled with injury, barely featuring until the 2015/16 season, in which he bounced back and contributed 10 goals from midfield.
He has continued to look good this season under Brendan Rodgers, also scoring 10 goals in all competitions already in just half a season, although it remains to be seen if he will have a chance to add to this tally.
