Armstrong featured for Celtic in the Scottish League Cup semi-final tie against Scottish Premiership rivals Hibernian at Hampden Park in Glasgow on Saturday afternoon.
The 25-year-old midfielder started the tie and played for 73 minutes, as Brendan Rodgers’s side won 4-2.
