Celtic beat Motherwell 5-0 on Wednesday, with Scott Sinclair starring.
Scott Sinclair in action for Aston Villa
Celtic picked up a thumping 5-0 win over Motherwell on Wednesday evening as they kicked off their Scottish League Cup campaign in style.
After beating Hearts 2-1 in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday afternoon, the Bhoys were in League Cup action as a place in the quarter-finals was up for grabs.

This was arguably Celtic’s finest display under new manager Brendan Rodgers, as Tom Rogic and Moussa Dembele put the Bhoys 2-0 up by half time, and Celtic ran riot in the second half with Scott Sinclair scoring again before Dembele and Rogic completed their braces.
Celtic were outstanding and a number of players deserve praise from the game, but winger Sinclair again stole the headlines with a scintillating performance.

Winger Sinclair, 27, joined Celtic from Aston Villa on Sunday morning, and became an instant Bhoys hero just hours later by scoring the winning goal against Hearts – and he was at it again in the clash with Motherwell.
Sinclair not only scored again, making it two goals in two games for Celtic, but dazzled fans with his blistering pace and incisive attacking play, as supporters took to Twitter after the game to laud the former Manchester City misfit.

Fans praised Sinclair for a quality display, noting that his speed and passing are what Celtic have been lacking in recent years, and he already looks like a bargain after less than a week at the club.
Some even suggested that they didn’t think Sinclair would hit the ground running like he has, and labelled him a ‘special player’ after a superb full debut for the club.
Here are some of the reactions from Celtic fans after Sinclair’s performance against Motherwell…
