Celtic loanee Scott Allan made himself a hero out on loan by scoring an excellent goal in the Edinburgh derby.

Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to praise Scott Allan and discuss his future after he scored a brilliant goal during Hibernian’s Scottish Premiership win over Hearts on Friday night.
Allan arrived at Easter Road during the January transfer window as part of the deal that saw Scott Bain head to Parkhead on loan in the wake of the long-term injury sustained by Craig Gordon.

Neil Lennon’s men are unbeaten since Allan’s return to the club that he left for Celtic in 2015, and they continued that unbeaten run when Craig Levein brought his Hearts side looking to ensure that his ‘natural order’ comments after his side’s win earlier in the season did not come back to haunt him.
They did hurt him. And Allan played a key role in making Levein look foolish, finishing off an excellent move down Hibs’ left wing. The ball found the 26-year-old on the edge of the box, and after a nice touch to bring the ball down, he drilled his shot on the half-volley into the bottom corner to send the home fans into a frenzy.

Brendan Rodgers recently hinted that Allan may be better off staying at Hibs in the future, in comments reported by The Scotsman, but some Hoops supporters feel that he is staking a claim to be given another chance at Parkhead when he returns from his loan spell.
Few of the fans are getting carried away and suggesting that he would be anything other than an understudy, but it appears that some of the Hoops faithful feel that he could still have something to contribute in the future and letting him leave permanently may not be the best move.
Here is what the Celtic fans made of Allan’s latest performance and goal…
