Some Celtic supporters on Twitter have provided mixed reactions to reports linking them Dinamo Zagreb’s Amir Rrahmani.

Belgium outlet, La Derniere Heure have claimed that the Scottish Premiership champions are in the race to sign the 6ft 2 centre-back with two other clubs.

It is said that Amiens and Standard Liege are also keen on the defender, who has made a name for himself in Croatia as the latter team is leading the chase for his signature.

It won’t be a surprise to hear that Celtic supporters don’t know much about the player, who is 25-years-old and a Kosovo international.

Celtic and Neil Lennon have a big summer ahead of them because after they won yet another treble, the pressure will be on them once again to win the Scottish Premiership title.

This time the Bhoys will be looking for nine-in-a-row, but they will be well aware that their rivals will be hot on their heels and hoping to stop their current dominant run.

It is no surprise that they are potentially gunning for a defensive player because Celtic need to strengthen in that area this summer.

Lennon joined the club in late February when Brenan Rodgers opted to leave for Leicester City and for most parts he had to deal with his team.

Now, the Northern Irishman can stamp his own authority on the squad and sign, as well as sell players he feels that are or aren’t good enough for Celtic.
