Celtic fans have their say on Rangers attempts to land Belgian.
Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi celebrates with the trophy after winning the Premier League
No prizes for guessing what the most surprising transfer rumour of the day is.
Rangers are allegedly interested in Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi, according to The Mirror.
The Gers are one of several teams keen to land the Belgian striker on loan after he struggled to establish himself in the first team this past season.
Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi in action
Batshuayi cost a staggering £33 million from Marseille last summer and it is optimistic that he might choose them ahead of interested clubs like Everton or Monaco.
Wages will also provide a stumbling block for Rangers’ efforts, although it should be noted that they have negotiated one deal with Chelsea already this summer, selling Billy Gilmour, which could provide a starting point for discussions.

Rangers have been active in the transfer market this summer and need a top class signing if they are to really challenge Celtic for the title after their terrible effort last season.
Gers fans reacted in shock to the rumours this morning, and supporters of rivals Celtic have had plenty to say too.
Some have even suggested the rumour has been put out there cynically to try and sell season tickets at Ibrox next season.
