Celtic fans have been reacting on Twitter after Olivier Ntcham made his competitive debut for the Hoops in the second-leg of their Champions League qualifier with Linfield at Parkhead.
While Celtic’s emphatic win in the first-leg saw Brendan Rodgers’ men virtually put one foot in the next round, there may have still been a bit of pressure on the young Frenchman given that he was appearing in a competitive fixture for the first time since his £4.5 million move from Manchester City (via Daily Record).

And while Ntcham did not get on the scoresheet against David Healy’s men – a brace from Scott Sinclair along with one each for Stuart Armstrong and Tom Rogic saw the Bhoys win 4-0 on the night, setting up a tie with Rosenborg in the next round – there was no question that he certainly made an extremely positive impact.
The fans who have taken to social media following the game were clearly impressed with what they saw from the 21-year-old, and expressed their excitement as to what he could go on to achieve in the future.
Ntcham played an important role in a couple of the goals before his substitution during the second-half, and the supporters are optimistic that there will be considerably more to come from the midfielder once he has fully adapted to his new surroundings.
