Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that Celtic are likely to be without Nir Bitton until the end of the season.

Celtic fans have admitted that Nir Bitton being out for the season is a big concern.
He said: “Nir will probably be out for the season which is a blow for us.
“It’s a shame for him as he’s a very important member of our squad.”
The Israeli international has damaged his knee, and will have to undergo surgery to correct the problem.

Bitton joins a long list of Celtic players on the treatment table at the moment, with the Bhoys struggling to keep their key men fit.
And Celtic fans admit that losing Bitton is a blow to their chances of success.
Bitton will now be ruled out for Celtic’s Europa League tie this evening, which comes against Zenit St. Petersburg.
Bitton could have covered at centre back or in central midfield, and losing his versatility will be a frustration.
Celtic go into tonight’s tie with Zenit as underdogs, but they will have home advantage.
