He helped inflict a defeat on England’s under-21 side, their first loss of the year, as France recorded a 3-2 win.
Dembele’s brace made it 15 goals in his last 16 games in all competitions for club and country.

Dembele signed for Celtic in the summer after his contract at Fulham ran out, with the Scottish side beating competition from clubs across Europe for his signature.
Dembele’s form for Celtic has consigned last season’s top scorer Leigh Griffiths to the bench, while making himself even more in demand.
Not that Celtic will be willing to let him go any time soon, despite his increasing reputation sending his potential transfer value soaring.
