Celtic youngster shone in Glasgow Cup final.

Celtic youngster Mikey Johnston was a class apart in the Glasgow Cup final.
The 20-year-old scored a terrific free kick to follow up Jack Aitchison’s opener.
Johnston has first team experience already and his performance for Celtic’s under-20s last night showed it won’t be long until he was back in the side.
His first team progress had been hurt by Brendan Rodgers playing him out of position as a striker in the Old Firm derby loss in December.
Johnston last night was in his natural position out on the wing and he thrived.

This was the latest in a series of impressive performances from Johnston for the development squad over the past few weeks.
A recall before the end of the season could be possible, especially if Celtic can wrap up the league title as soon as possible.
Here is a look at how Celtic fans reacted on Twitter to Johnston’s performance…
