Celtic picked up a massive win in their Champions League group as they beat Anderlecht 3-0 in Belgium.

Celtic fans are unsurprisingly in a very buoyant mood after watching Brendan Rodgers’ men take a major step towards extending their European adventure beyond the turn of the year by beating Anderlecht in emphatic fashion on Wednesday night.
Goals from Leigh Griffiths, Patrick Roberts and Scott Sinclair gave the Hoops the three points that puts them third in their group and in a fantastic position to secure a Europa League spot at the very least.

Though he did not get onto the scoresheet against the Belgian side, there was plenty of love for Kieran Tierney on social media after the left-back’s performance in Brussels.
The 20-year-old, along with the centre-back pairing of Jozo Simunovic and Dedryck Boyata, defended brilliantly against the home side to help the Scottish Premiership champions keep a clean sheet.

And of course, it was Tierney’s excellent run to get onto the end of Olivier Ntcham’s masterful pass that led to the opening goal, as the left-back drilled the ball across the six-yard box for Leigh Griffiths to tap home the opener.
And while most of Rodgers’ squad was lauded on social media, Tierney’s contribution seemed to attract a huge amount of praise from the supporters, as it seems to, justifiably, almost every game the Bhoys academy graduate plays.
Here is the best of the reaction…
