Pedro Caixinha’s Glasgow Rangers are six points behind Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic in the Scottish Premiership.

Celtic fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to comments made by Josh Windass about Rangers closing the gap.
As quoted by The Daily Record, Rangers midfielder Windass has suggested that the Gers have closed the gap on Old Firm rivals Celtic.
The Ibrox outfit failed to challenge Brendan Rodgers’s side for the Scottish Premiership title last season.
As Celtic won the league title without losing a single game, Rangers could not even finish second – they ended up third in the standings.
Former Accrington Stanley midfielder Windass, 23, believes that the Gers are in a better position this season than they were during the 2016-17 campaign regarding a title challenge.

“Yeah, obviously we’ve got a new team and there’s a big transition period going on but I think that with the team we’ve got we should be challenging better than we did last year,” Windass told The Daily Record.
Celtic have started the 2017-18 campaign strongly and are favourites to win the Scottish Premiership title.
The Celtic Park outfit are currently at the top of the league table with 20 points from eight matches, while Rangers are six points behind them in third spot.
