Celtic fans aren’t in love with Jonny Hayes so far, it has to be said.

It hasn’t been a smooth transition to life at Celtic for Jonny Hayes, it must be said.
The Irish winger joined the Hoops in a £1.3 million deal from Aberdeen in the summer but the 30-year-old hasn’t done much in a Celtic shirt as of yet.

Manager Brendan Rodgers started him in Saturday’s 4-0 win over Ross County, but Hayes, with no goals or assists in any of his six games for the club, divided opinion yet again.
He certainly worked hard and as a result Celtic fans have acknowledged his industry, but others want to see more from him in an attacking sense it seems.

They might not agree over Hayes, but they’ll surely agree that it was a good win for Celtic.
Rodgers’s side, five points clear of Rangers ahead of next weekend’s Old Firm, were 2-0 up by half time courtesy of goals from Tom Rogic and fit-again Moussa Dembele.
James Forrest made it three shortly after the break, before putting the game well and truly to bed on 72 minutes as the Hoops warmed up for Rangers in perfect fashion.
