Celtic maintained their six-point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership.

Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to laud Jeremy Toljan’s display in the Hoops’ 2-0 victory against Hibernian at Parkhead on Wednesday which leaves Brendan Rodgers’ men six points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
The January signing made his Bhoys debut in the weekend win at St Johnstone as he came on at half-time to replace Mikael Lustig. And Rodgers decided to hand the German his full debut against managerless Hibs.
And the Borussia Dortmund-owned ace certainly seemed to justify his selection. Right-back has been something of a problematic position for Celtic in recent times, with Lustig often struggling for form.
But the first moments of Toljan’s Parkhead career hint that he could well be the answer to those issues over the coming months. He linked up superbly with fellow new recruit Timothy Weah at times.

The pair combined to set up Ryan Christie for the opening goal, and they appear to already have an understanding that suggests that Celtic will have a lot of joy down that right flank over the coming months.
And in response to his performance, several Celtic fans have heaped praise upon the defender, insisting that he is clearly the best option in the squad in his position. And they are excited to see how influential he could prove to be while he is with the Hoops.

Here is how some of the supporters reacted to Toljan’s display…
