Celtic defender Jack Hendry was out of his depth against AEK.

Celtic defender Jack Hendry was exposed as clearly out of his depth as the team suffered defeat to AEK Athens.
Hendry looked nervous throughout at the back and was not helped by an equally incompetent display from Jozo Simunovic.
For the second goal in particular, Hendry was caught ball watching as his marker lost him and headed in from close range.
AEK are hardly formidable opponents and will be underdogs in the Champions League, but they looked a class above Celtic on last night’s performance and deserved to go through.

Hendry was just one of several players who were not up to the standard required, and questions need to be asked of Brendan Rodgers and his superiors.
Celtic signed Hendry from Dundee in January and he was quickly rewarded with a Scotland international call up.
Both decisions looks rash, because since then he has struggled to reach the standards required.
Hendry is 23 and playing in the Champions League qualifiers was ‘sink or swim’ for him. He sank.
Here is a look at how fans reacted on Twitter to his performance…
