Celtic fans are not impressed.

Scott Sinclair’s terrific form for Celtic has not been enough to win a place in the England squad.
Pressed about the winger in his press conference, manager Gareth Southgate stated that he is not convinced Sinclair is good enough.
Southgate stated that he feels England already have better players in Sinclair’s position.

Southgate told SkySports: “He’s a good player but we have good quality in that area of the pitch and, at the moment, I think he is just below the level of what we have already got.”
England picked wingers Jesse Lingard and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the squad who have both had disappointing seasons so far, along with the more impressive Raheem Sterling.

Southgate’s comments boil down the the fact he believes Sinclair is not up to it not based on his performances, but because of the league he is playing in.
Sinclair is starring in the Scottish Premiership, and has three goals and three assists in seven matches.
Last week he scored in the Champions League against Anderlecht away from home – which is an achievement it is far harder to discount.
Here is a look at how Celtic supporters reacted to Southgate’s comments…
