Celtic defeated St Mirren on Sunday but what did fans make of Efe Ambrose’s performance for the hosts?
Celtic got back to winning ways on Sunday by defeating St Mirren 4-1 at Celtic Park.
The hosts were smarting from their 4-3 Europa League defeat to Dinamo Zagreb a few days earlier, when defender Efe Ambrose came in for plenty of criticism following a less than convincing performance at the back.
There was more concern for Celtic when Sean Kelly briefly equalised for St Mirren after Scott Brown had put them ahead. But a second from the captain along with goals from James Forrest and Anthony Stokes ensured the league leaders recorded a comfortable victory.
But with Ambrose once again starting alongside Virgil Van Dijk, what did Celtic fans think of the Nigerian’s performance?
It is fair to say he generates some pretty interesting comments on social media and following the match we took to Twitter to see what Celtic fans thought of the player’s latest showing.
