The 26-year-old is on the brink of returning to action for Celtic.
Earlier on Monday, Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers confirmed the “great news” of Dedryck Boyata’s imminent return to first-team duties.
The Belgian centre-back will be named in a Celtic squad for the first time in two months this week when Rodgers’s side visit Dundee in a quarter-final League Cup clash.
Boyata, a big player for the Hoops during the second half of last term, has been a mere spectator so far this season as a result of a knee injury suffered in July.
The Scottish Premiership champions have a big nine days ahead of them and having a defender of Boyata’s experience and calibre can only be a good thing.
After Dundee, Celtic prepare for a huge clash with Rangers at Ibrox, before then turning their attentions toward another big one for the trip to Anderlecht in the Champions League.
With that in mind, fans of the Parkhead club are delighted to hear that the 26-year-old is on the brink of pulling on the shirt once again.
