Celtic fans on Twitter have called on manager Brendan Rodgers to stick with Scott Bain as his first-choice goalkeeper, despite Craig Gordon’s return from injury.

Gordon has been missing with a knee injury since the 1-0 win over Hibernian in January.

But Celtic’s goalkeeping coach Stevie Woods revealed to The Glasgow Evening Times on Monday that he expects the 35-year-old to be back in action within two weeks.

And fans of the Parkhead club have intimated on Twitter that Bain – signed on loan from Dundee after Gordon’s injury – deserves to keep his number one shirt when Gordon returns.
