Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to voice their displeasure over their side’s lack of representation in Chris Sutton’s SPL Team of the Week.

Celtic's head coach Brendan Rodgers talks during a press conference in Brussels on September 26, 2017 on the eve of the Champions League group B) football match against RSC Anderlecht.

Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to criticise the absence of any of their players in BT Sport pundit Chris Sutton’s Scottish Premier League Team of the Week.

Sutton’s best eleven included the likes of Aberdeen’s Ryan Christie and Partick Thistle’s Jack Storey but excluded the likes of Celtic’s Moussa Dembele and Kieren Tierney who both enjoyed solid afternoons.

Moussa Dembele celebrates his 2nd goal (Celtic's 4th) during the Betfred Cup Semi-Final at Hampden Park on October 21, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.

The Bhoys moved clear at the top of the table with an emphatic 3-0 away win over title challengers Aberdeen thanks to an early goal from full-back Kieren Tierney and a double from French striker Moussa Dembele.

Despite being held at home to Kilmarnock on the weekend thanks to a Jordan Jones goal on the hour mark, this week may come to mark a turning point in the season when the curtain falls on this campaign, with Rodgers’ side enjoying a convincing win over their closest title challengers.

Considering this, the Celtic fans were not happy about their team’s lack of representation in Sutton’s TOTW.
