Celtic fans have been reacting on Twitter after Sky Sports suggested that Moussa Dembele is in talks with AC Milan about a potential move to San Siro this summer.

Dembele was signed by the Hoops only last summer, and has enjoyed a stunning first season in the Scottish Premiership, scoring 32 times in all competitions to help Brendan Rodgers’ men go through the entire domestic campaign unbeaten, clinching the treble along the way.

Unsurprisingly therefore, the 20-year-old is attracting attention from some of Europe’s biggest clubs, with Sky Sports suggesting that Premier League champions Chelsea and Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund are keen on the former Fulham starlet.

However, it appears that they may have to act quickly if they hope to land the forward, with Sky Sports adding that AC Milan are now in talks with the Bhoys about bringing Dembele to Serie A.

Milan are enjoying their first summer under their new Chinese owners and Sky Sports reports that they are plotting a major overhaul of their squad, with Dembele seemingly being earmarked as a potential target.

Understandably, many Celtic fans are extremely disappointed at the news. While it seems inevitable that Dembele will probably leave Parkhead at some stage in the future, the fact that his departure could now happen this summer and could now be to a team that will need to qualify for the Europa League next season appears to be particularly painful.

However, some have accepted that a move may well take place and have thus, urged the club to get as much money as possible for the forward.
