Sviatchenko signed for the Bhoys during Ronny Deila’s time in charge, but went on to make 43 appearances in all competitions during Brendan Rodgers’ first year at Parkhead.

The news has generally gone down extremely negatively on social media, with a number of supporters disappointed that Sviatchenko is the player that has been allowed to leave.
