Celtic fans have been reacting on Twitter after Saidy Janko put in a great cameo performance to help Barnsley thrash Wolves 4-0 at Molineux.

The 20-year-old is currently on loan with the Championship club, and was yet to make his debut for Paul Heckingbottom’s side before the clash with Walter Zenga’s men.

And while the first 70 minutes made very few sit up and take notice, the game kicked into life towards the end with the Tykes scoring four times to maintain their position of third in the table.

Amongst the goals was a stunning strike from the Celtic loanee, who was only brought on after 82 minutes. Running from the right wing, he continually tricked the Wolves defence by dropping his shoulder several times before unleashing a thunderous drive into the roof of the net.

And his night was not finished there as his assist allowed Tom Bradshaw to complete the rout in stoppage-time.

Given the struggles that Janko endured during the early stages of this season with his parent club – his performance against Hapoel Be’er Sheva in Israel will surely live long in the memory for all the wrong reasons – the news of his brief, but excellent, performance was unsurprisingly met with some shock amongst Hoops fans, who were coming to terms with their side’s 7-0 defeat to Barcelona.
