The Bhoys certainly weren’t handed a favourable draw by Liverpool legend Ian Rush, with the former Reds striker placing the Scottish champions in Group B alongside the Spanish giants and the freespending Premier League side.

But you don’t have to look back too long ago to see that even the mighty Catalan outfit haven’t had their own way at Celtic Park, with Victor Wanyama and Tony Watt firing them to a famous 2-1 win in 2012.
Celtic may not be able to claim they have an easy group, but they will be delighted to be back in the premier European competition after two years of qualifying disappointment.
