Former Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is reportedly keen to land Dedryck Boyata in the summer.

A number of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the reports from The Scottish Sun which have suggested that Brendan Rodgers is hoping to take Dedryck Boyata to Leicester City in the summer.
Rodgers damaged his relationship with many of the Parkhead faithful beyond repair recently with his decision to make the move to the King Power Stadium at a time when the Hoops have a fantastic chance of securing a third domestic Treble in a row.
And it appears that he may be considering a move that would upset some Celtic fans even further. The Scottish Sun reports that the Foxes want to sign Boyata when his Bhoys contract expires at the end of the season.
While Boyata’s departure appears to be on the cards anyway, it may be particularly frustrating for Celtic fans if he heads to Leicester on a free transfer – especially as Rodgers was the man who urged the club to reject a £9 million bid from Fulham for Boyata in the summer (via Daily Mail).

Several Celtic supporters have joked that Leicester targeting Boyata is the least surprising transfer rumour following Rodgers’s recent exit.
And while some believe that replacing Boyata is going to be a tough task for the next manager, plenty believe that the centre-back is not good enough for the Premier League, and thus, they have little problem with the prospect of him being reunited with the former Hoops boss at the end of the campaign.

Here is how some of the Celtic supporters have reacted to the reports…
