Celtic will be hoping to reach the League Cup final as the Hoops boss seeks more silverware for the Parkhead trophy cabinet.

A number of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Neil Lennon’s admission that Scott Brown is “doubtful” for the Hoops’ Scottish League Cup semi-final clash with Hibs on Saturday.
The Bhoys captain had claimed on Thursday that he would be okay for the Hampden clash after being taken off against St Mirren at Parkhead on Wednesday with a thigh complaint, as reported by the Daily Record.
However, as Lennon gave a general fitness update on several Celtic players at his pre-match press conference on Friday – Vakoun Bayo and Leigh Griffiths are set to miss out – he spoke in more detail about Brown’s fitness.
“Brown’s struggling,” the Northern Irishman told the Celtic media team (Twitter). “He was out this morning so we’ll assess him tomorrow. Too early to say but he’s doubtful. Mikey was back training so he may come in to contention.”
Some Celtic fans responded on social media to the update on Brown, 22 of the Hoops’ 24 games this term:
League Cup holders Celtic have won the last nine trophies in Scottish football and face a struggling Hibs side sitting ninth in the Scottish Premiership with one league win all season.
