Celtic defender Jozo Simunovic has been ruled out of Bayern Munich clash.

Ahead of Celtic’s crucial Champions League tie away to Bayern Munich on Wednesday, the Bhoys have been dealt a massive blow after Jozo Simunovic failed to recover from a hamstring injury.
Brendan Rodgers, the Celtic manager, revealed in the press conference that the defender had a “slight reaction” to injury, and that he is unfortunately unavailable.
He also added that the club are waiting on the MRI results, and he hopes that Simunovic won’t be out for a long time.
The 23-year-old hasn’t featured for Celtic since September, and was also ruled out of Bosnia’s World Cup qualifiers earlier this month.
Simunovic returned to training last Thursday, along with fellow injured stars Scott Brown and Stuart Armstrong.

The Bhoys were hopeful that the centre-back would shake off the injury to face Bayern on Wednesday, but as it stands, he will out of action on Wednesday.
Celtic fans took to social networking site Twitter to express their reaction after the news broke out, and needless to say, they were disappointed. Many feel his absence is a massive blow for the side.
