Celtic fans have been reacting to the reports emerging from the Daily Record that have suggested that Moses Odubajo could in contention for a move to Parkhead after he joined up with the Hoops squad for their pre-season tour of Austria.

Odubajo is set to be a free agent this summer after a nightmare end to his spell with Hull City. He has not played for the Tigers since the 2016 Championship play-off final due to a knee injury, missing their entire Premier League campaign and their subsequent first year back in the second tier.

The Record reports that he is set to leave the Tigers, and it appears that Celtic may perhaps be his destination. The Record adds that he has linked up with Brendan Rodgers’ squad in Austria and is set to be given the chance to prove his fitness in the hope of earning a contract with the Bhoys.

The news has prompted a very mixed reaction on social media. Odubajo looked destined for an extremely bright future before his injury, but many of the fans have their concerns as to whether he is worth the gamble given the players on their books already.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is seen during a training session at Lennoxtown Training Centre on April 27, 2018 in Glasgow, Scotland.

For other Celtic fans however, there is a feeling that he is worth looking at. Right-back has been a problematic position for the Bhoys lately, even though both Mikael Lustig and Cristian Gamboa are currently at the World Cup, and some believe that Odubajo could be a very good target to consider.

And with the Hoops seemingly yet to actually commit to anything regarding a potential deal, several of the supporters cannot see the harm in letting the youngster have a chance to prove himself on the trip.

Here is the best of the reaction to the reports…
