Celtic are reportedly after Everton star Davies in the January window.

Celtic have been linked with a move to sign Everton midfielder Tom Davies in the January transfer window as Brendan Rodgers looks to bring in reinforcements – and Hoops fans are excited by the potential signing.
The Daily Mail have claimed that both Celtic and West Ham United are interested in the 20-year-old midfielder, who has dropped to the Toffees bench since the emergence of Barcelona loanee Andre Gomes.
Davies has managed just one Premier League appearance since early October, coming off the bench on Saturday to feature for nine minutes of Everton’s 3-1 loss to Manchester City.
Still highly-rated by the Toffees, Davies has captained his side five times this season despite his young age, including wearing the armband when coming on to the field of play against Pep Guardiola’s men.

Celtic are well-stocked in the middle of the park, after Scott Brown and Olivier Ntcham both returned from injury. They join Ryan Christie, Callum McGregor and Tom Rogic in vying for a place – though Christie is currently injured.
Hoops fans are excited to be linked to Davies, who has already played 79 times in all competitions for the Merseyside outfit at 20 years of age. It remains to be seen if a deal will be done in January – or whether it would be a loan, or permanent.
Davies has a contract at Everton until the summer of 2022, which Spotrac claim is worth £25,000 a week – the same as captain Scott Brown (Daily Star).
