Balde spent two seasons at Celtic, between 2013 and 2015.

29.01.2014 Glasgow, Scotland. Amido Balde tries to find a way through the kilmarnock defence during the Scottish Premier League game between Celtic and Kilmarnock from Celtic Park.

Amido Balde scored four goals for new club Persebaya Surabaya as they dispatched second-tier Indonesian outfit Persidago 7-0 in a pre-season friendly, and Celtic fans have reacted on Twitter.

Balde, 27, has been somewhat of a journeyman since leaving Celtic in the summer of 2015 after two years with the Scottish Champions. He managed just 24 appearances, scoring three goals.

The striker joined the Scottish side for £1.5million (Mail) after scoring nine goals in 37 games for Portuguese side Vitoria Guimaraes, before moving to the Hoops as competition for the likes of Georgios Samaris, Anthony Stokes and Teemu Pukki.

Balde posted on Twitter after scoring four goals for his new side, underlining his delight at finding the back of the net so prolifically as he and his new side prepare for the new Super League season.

The majority of Balde’s 24 appearances were from the bench during his time at Celtic, though he did score a winner in a 2-1 win over Partick Thistle as well as two separate goals against Kilmarnock.

Celtic fans reacted to Balde’s Tweet about his four goals by congratulating their former striker, while one fan Tweeted Celtic’s official account – stating “sign him up”.
