The Preston North End manager was linked with Brendan Rodgers’ old post at Celtic.

Cetic fans are reacting after Preston boss Alex Neil distanced himself from the Parkhead managerial vacancy.
Neil, who is currently overseeing Preston’s late push for the Championship play-offs, has been mooted as a possible successor to Brendan Rodgers in Glasgow.
Neil Lennon recently took on the role on an interim basis, although it is unclear at this stage whether or not the 47-year-old will be hired full-time.
But speaking to The Scottish Sun this week, Neil insisted he has had no thoughts about leaving Preston for Celtic or any other club.
And the following Bhoys fans are fairly happy with what the Bellshill native has had to say…
Neil made his name as a manager at Hamilton Academical, whom he led into Scotland’s top flight in 2014 before overseeing the club’s first away win at Celtic in 76 years.
The 37-year-old later achieved another promotion, this time at Norwich, but was sacked towards the end of the club’s first season back in the Championship.
