Celtic beat Rangers 2-0 in the Old Firm derby at Ibrox this afternoon.

Celtic proved they’re still the team to beat in the Scottish Premiership after defeating Rangers 2-0 at Ibrox this afternoon.
The first Old Firm derby of the season is always a big one, but this one was particularly important given that many were backing Rangers to launch a title push this season.
However, Celtic asserted their dominance over their old rivals, and went ahead in the first half when Odsonne Edouard raced clear from Mikey Johnston’s pass to score.
Rangers tried to get back into the game, introducing three attacking substitutes, but it was all for nothing as Jonny Hayes scored on the counter to make it 2-0.
As the Celtic celebrations really got going, Jordan Jones saw red for a shocking challenge late on, and Celtic have ate least quietened talk of a Rangers title challenge for now.
A number of Celtic stars impressed at Ibrox, and one of them was centre Christopher Jullien, who dominated Jermain Defoe and then Alfredo Morelos to nullify the Rangers attack.

The 6ft 5in Frenchman joined Celtic from Toulouse for £7million this summer (The Scottish Sun), and served up a towering performance in the heart of Neil Lennon’s back four.
Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to hail Jullien, believing he’s already repaid his transfer fee with such a great display, even comparing him to Virgil van Dijk.
Others believe he was a ‘juggernaut’ and ‘absolutely unreal’, with the 26-year-old making a huge impact today to leave Bhoys fans dazzled by his display.
