Celtic have less than three days to sign some new players.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has attempted to reassure concerned fans that the club are working “behind the scenes” to sign new players before Friday’s midnight deadline – but some Hoops fans have heard it all before.
Fans have become even more worried at their club’s lack of business – which stands at just three signings in Emilio Izaguirre, Odsonne Edouard and Daniel Arzani – as Moussa Dembele is reportedly closing in on an exit.
The French striker’s agent has travelled to Germany, according to French outlet Le 10 Sport, to discuss a move with Borussia Dortmund and Schalke, while French sides Lyon and Marseille are also interested.
Rodgers looked to appease his club’s fanbase by stating that their is plenty of work going on in a bid to sign some new players before Friday’s deadline.
“It’s one where we hope to ensure by the end of the window we are strong. We are looking for players to come in and freshen up the squad and also fit in to what we are doing,” Rodgers said.
“A lot of work going on behind the scenes to try and improve the squad.”

With doubts over the future of Dedryck Boyata and the club in need of a centre-back even if the Belgium World Cup ace remains in Glasgow, the frustration among supporters is easy to see.
Celtic fans reacted to Rodgers comments about signing new players, and many said they have been told the same story throughout the entire summer window, while others remained pessimistic.
