Celtic were knocked out of the Europa League on Thursday night.

Celtic were knocked out of the Europa League on Thursday night by Spanish side Valencia after a 1-0 defeat at the Mestalla, and a 3-0 loss over the two legs – and Celtic fans have chosen to criticise striker Oliver Burke.
The 21-year-old has played 10 times for Celtic since joining the club on loan until the end of the season from West Bromwich Albion, scoring three goals and created two more.
He has been used by Brendan Rodgers as a centre forward, with Odsonne Edouard in and out of the treatment room while Leigh Griffiths is taking time out from football. Vakoun Issouf Bayo is building up his fitness.
Naturally a winger, Burke was found out against Valencia on Thursday night as he struggled to link up play between himself and Celtic’s midfielders while his first touch left plenty to be desired.

Kris Ajer missed a glorious chance to put Celtic one ahead on the night despite Jeremy Toljan’s red card, before Dani Parejo’s incisive 40-yard pass was headed across the box to Kevin Gameiro who tapped home.
Celtic fans reacted on Twitter to Burke’s performance, who was withdrawn after 73 minutes. They criticised the attacker for a number of reasons, with the majority of the opinion that something or someone else is needed up front.
