Moussa Dembele soured his reputation with Celtic fans after the way he forced through an exit at the end of the transfer window.
Dembele sulked his way to a move to Lyon, and made his debut for the club at the weekend against Caen.
He didn’t manage to score, and last night in the Champions League he was an unused substitute as Lyon took on Manchester City.
Celtic fans certainly noted Dembele’s lack of action, with several sending messages to the Frenchman on Twitter, taunting him a being a benchwarmer.
As some pointed out, Dembele could have watched the Champions League still being a Celtic player.
Presumably Dembele will get his chances over the next five group games, but last night he was not required.
Celtic did not qualify for the Champions League this season, and will play in the Europa League tonight instead.
