Celtic leapfrogged Rangers to the top of the table on Wednesday night.

Borna Barisic has been quoted by the Daily Record as saying Rangers can still win the Scottish Premiership title this season, despite being leapfrogged by Celtic on Wednesday night – and Celtic fans have reacted hilariously.
Rangers failed to tuck away their chances into the back of the net as the secured a 0-0 draw with Hibernian at Easter Road, which will be frustrating for Steven Gerrard who said his side did more than enough to win.
The likes of Alfredo Morelos, James Tavernier and Daniel Candeias all had excellent chances to find the back of the net, but some lacklustre finishing cost the Gers the chance to remain at the top.
Dropping two points allowed Celtic to climb to the Scottish Premiership summit, and they did just that with a comfortable 3-0 win over Motherwell at Parkhead. Barisic still believes Rangers can win the title.
“Yes, of course we showed we are capable [of winning the league],” Barisic said. “We have a winning mentality and if we don’t believe in that then we shouldn’t play football. We miss a lot of chances but we will find this.”

Both Celtic and Rangers have two Scottish Premiership fixtures which will be seen ad must-win by both clubs, before they face off in the second Old Firm derby of the season at Ibrox – in what will be a hugely important clash in the title race.
Celtic fans reacted to Barisic’s comments on Twitter, laughing off the Croatian defender as the Hoops regained top spot. They sit a point ahead of Rangers, with a game in hand.
