Celtic wrapped up the Scottish Premiership title at a canter as they dismantled their rivals at Parkhead.
Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to laud Olivier Ntcham’s performance during the latest Old Firm contest which saw the Hoops run out 5-0 winners and wrap up their seventh successive Scottish Premiership title.
Brendan Rodgers’ men were superb from start to finish at Parkhead. Rangers could not get near the Bhoys and probably had Jak Alnwick to thank for the scoreline not being a lot closer to double figures.
Celtic did not seem to get into a particularly high gear either, controlling the contest in every department to bag the three points and ensure that Rodgers’ fantastic record against the Gers continues.
It was difficult to pick out a man of the match from a Celtic perspective as almost every player staked a claim to be considered the best on the pitch. But it appears that a large chunk of Hoops fans would suggest Ntcham as the most impressive performer.
The £4.5 million signing – fee reported by BBC Sport – was a colossus in the middle of the park, not letting the likes of Jason Holt and Graham Dorrans have a sniff of the ball and connecting the play so well for Rodgers’ side.
Understandably, the Parkhead faithful have lauded Ntcham’s display, while one supporter has insisted that Celtic need to enjoy him while they can as he will soon by on his way to the Premier League if he continues to play like that on the big occasion.
