Celtic go into the Scottish Premiership’s winter break off the back of a draw with their bitter rivals at Parkhead.
Kristoffer Ajer
Celtic fans have been lauding Kristoffer Ajer on Twitter after the Hoops ended 2017 by ensuring that their unbeaten record against Rangers since Brendan Rodgers arrived at the club continues after a draw at Parkhead.
It was an extremely disappointing afternoon for the Bhoys. They had some great chances during the first-half, but found Gers stopper Wes Foderingham in inspired form on a couple of occasions while they also missed the target after getting into great positions.

The second-half saw the visitors arguably turn the tables, with Craig Gordon having to make a couple of stunning saves, while Alfredo Morelos proved to be wasteful on a few occasions.
With Celtic so dominant in Old Firm meetings over the last couple of years – it was Rangers’ second point in eight meetings since the start of last season – there was unsurprisingly, plenty of disappointment coming from the Hoops fans on social media after the game.
Brendan Rodgers
A number of players have been criticised for their displays, but one player who was praised was Ajer – who has looked extremely impressive during this recent run in the team.
The 19-year-old looked composed and dealt with Morelos well during the game to help preserve a point. The Norwegian has played all of Celtic’s games since they lost to Hearts earlier in the month, and they have kept a clean sheet on every occasion, and the fans are excited about his potential.
Here is the best of the reaction to his performance…
