Long-standing Premier League target Moussa Dembele has suggested that he could leave Scottish Premiership champions Celtic in the January window.

You might expect a vociferous fanbase to be tearing their hair out as their star man and last season’s top scorer hints that he could leave the club as early as next month.
But Celtic fans do not seem overly concerned despite Moussa Dembele suggesting that he might be open to a departure from Parkhead in the January transfer window.
“I can say it is part of the plan (to stay) – but the plan can change. It can change,” the Frenchman told the Daily Record amid links of a big-money move to the Premier League with Chelsea, Liverpool, Everton and Brighton all reportedly interested.

On initial inspection, losing Dembele in January doesn’t bare thinking about for Celtic. After signing for Fulham on a bargain deal in the summer of 2016, the striker netted 32 goals in a stunning debut season to inspire The Hoops to a first domestic treble in 15 years.
And though injuries have disrupted his progress in a difficult second season, Dembele still has eight goals in 17 games to his name.
However, a quick scroll through the Twitterverse suggests that Celtic fans are not too fearful about the prospect of the £30 million-rated hitman bidding farewell in the New Year.
Accusations of being a ‘one-season wonder’ may seem a little harsh but, with doubts about his work rate and the popular Leigh Griffiths in reserve, Celtic supporters are hardly quaking in their boots with the January window on the horizon.
