Leigh Griffiths was left out of the Celtic lineup against Anderlecht. Should the striker start against Hibernian this weekend?

Celtic may have progressed to the round-of-32 of the Europa League this season, but the Glasgow giants’ performance against Anderlecht in the Champions League on Tuesday evening left much to be desired.
Many would have expected Brendan Rodgers’s side to pick up all three points against the Belgian side at home, given that they had won the reverse fixture 3-0 in Belgium.
Moreover, Celtic were in good form and Celtic Park was packed, with the fans anticipating a great performance.

However, the Bhoys lost 1-0 and failed to perform to the level that they usually do and are expected to.
One player who cannot be blamed for Tuesday’s performance and results is Leigh Griffiths, who was an unused substitute against Anderlecht.
Moussa Dembele started the match, and fellow French forward Odsonne Edouard came on as a substitute in the 74th minute.
Griffiths was an unused substitute against Motherwell at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership last weekend as well.
Celtic fans are not happy with Rodgers’s decision regarding Griffiths and some want him to start against Hibernian away from home in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday afternoon.
