Celtic earned a comfortable 4-0 win over struggling St. Mirren on Wednesday night to go three points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table – but fans were not impressed with defender Mikael Lustig.
Brendan Rodgers’ signings came to the fore on Wednesday night at Parkhead, as Oliver Burke scored a well-taken brace before Timothy Weah replaced the West Bromwich Albion loanee and also got his name on the score sheet.
Scott Sinclair also continued his impressive recent form, finishing a penalty to make it seven goals in his last six games. The Hoops dominated throughout, with goalkeeper Scott Bain having to do very little.
Rodgers started a defence of Lustig, Kristoffer Ajer, Filip Benkovic and Emilio Izaguirre, and the quartet also had little to do in terms of defending as the Hoops dominated.

Lustig is out of contract at the end of the season, with a new contract for the Sweden international looking more and more unlikely as he nears the expiry date – May 31.
Celtic fans reacted to the 32-year-old’s display against St. Mirren, and it is clear that Celtic fans are fed up with the Swede who has certainly lost a yard or two of pace since he first signed for the Hoops in the summer of 2012.
