Mulgrew completed his move to the Championship side on a free transfer following his release from the Hoops.
Scotland’s Charlie Mulgrew in action
Former Celtic defender Charlie Mulgrew completed a deadline day move to Blackburn Rovers, signing a three-year contract at Ewood Park.
The 30-year-old was released from the Glasgow club in the summer after failing to agree a new deal with the Scottish Premiership Champions.
The versatile Scotland international spent six-years at Celtic Park, scoring 29 goals in 203 appearances and winning five consecutive league titles.

Capable in a number of defensive positions and in midfield, Mulgrew joins a Blackburn side currently sitting at the foot of the Championship table and will be hoping for a quick turn around at his new club.
Mulgrew’s only previous Championship outings came during a brief spell at Wolves a decade ago where he made just six appearances.
But with over 200 Scottish Premiership and 24 senior international appearances since, Mulgrew certainly doesn’t lack for experience.
